By Road
Narbonne is at the crossroads of two southbound motorways - the A62/A61 from Bordeaux /
Toulouse / Carcassonne and the A7/A9 from Lyon / Avignon / Montpellier.
The A75 Clermont Ferrand / Millau also joins the A9 a few miles NE of Narbonne near Béziers.
Northbound the A9 comes up from Spain linking Gerona and Barcelona to Narbonne.

The regular train and the TGV both stop in Narbonne from most destinations in France and from Barcelona in Spain. The TGV also makes the link across the channel to London.

Narbonne is a terminal for coaches with frequent schedules to most major European cities including London.

Ryan Air offer fly-drive packages at competitive rates but the cheapest we have found so far operating from the above airports are : Regent and AutosAbroad. Spain is also generally cheaper than France for car hire.
